1. Loss of body heat

When pets are sick, especially in more serious cases, they are unable to eat to generate heat because they are weak, leading to an imbalance of body heat. And after the body temperature is lowered to a certain temperature, it leads to hypothermia, weakness, shock and even death. So when your pet is sick, it is important to make sure they are kept warm.

2. Poor digestion

Any pet that is sick will affect its appetite, and a poor appetite will result in less food to eat. Also, when pets are sick it can affect the digestive system, causing some pets' digestive ability to deteriorate.
