Things to look out for before boarding your pet

When choosing a home for our pets, it is important to consider the various factors that can affect their physical and mental health, as they are our friends and family.

Before boarding we need to find out more about commercial boarding places, the environment, hygiene, staffing and reputation of the site. Ensure a reliable and professional boarding service. Try to choose a boarding facility with 24-hour real-time monitoring, so that the owner can always open the software and see what the dog is doing and supervise the staff.

Make sure that the staff at the boarding facility keep detailed records of the dog's daily habits and any medical history or illnesses that the dog is suffering from. Take special care to always use the dog's own food bowl, dog food, leash, litter pads, daily care products, etc.

Personally, I recommend taking the dog with you as much as possible if you can, and to let the dog see more of the world. Alternatively, you can consider sending your dog to a boarding facility with training services, which can adjust the dog's psychology, correct some bad behaviour and turn boarding into schooling.

If you have no choice but to foster, make sure you look into it well in advance, otherwise the consequences could be as minor as a minor illness or as serious as death by passing the belly.

Every dog is like a child family member to a pooper scooper, and it is up to us to ensure their safety, health and happiness when the dog is not around and the dog cannot choose and care for themselves.
