CUSTOM SUPPORT & SALE
There are more species of pets than just cats and dogs. Birds such as budgies, for example. So what do you need to be aware of when keeping these types of pets for the first time?
Firstly, don't keep just one budgie. If you keep two, you won't be too depressed about your little one, as the body of a moody bird is prone to problems. Make sure you get another one, it doesn't matter if you keep even two of the same sex together if you can't tell the difference between male and female.
Secondly, height is important to the bird. The cage should be placed as high as possible so that the standing stick is at the same height as a person's chest. The cage must have standing sticks, about 1.2cm in diameter, which are most suitable. In principle a cage should have three or four standing sticks, including one rough claw-sharpening stick and one of natural material, which means that the thickness of the sticks is not uniform throughout. The claw sharpening stick should not be the highest standing stick. Because the bird spends the longest time on the highest stick, pressure sores can develop on the feet if they stand on the claw sharpening stick for too long. Budgies love to be in the sun. Make sure you create conditions for the bird to bask in the sun.
On the other hand, make sure the light is dim enough at night to allow the bird to rest in time and try not to let human lights interfere with the bird's sleep. Finally provide toys for them to turn over, tear and nibble on, you will see very interesting behaviour. However, be safe and avoid the bird getting cut, or tangled. Keep the toys fresh by putting them in batches and replacing them regularly. Parrots shed rather shredded feathers and keeping them requires diligent cleaning.
Happy bird-keeping!
