CUSTOM SUPPORT & SALE
Pets should not be taken away immediately after a vaccination and it is important to see how your pet reacts. If some pets become physically unwell after vaccination and have a severe reaction condition, please seek medical attention. Pets, like people, can be allergic to certain things and there are also precautions to take after vaccination.
1. Stay in hospital for 30 minutes for observation
After each vaccination, your pet should stay in the hospital for about 30 minutes before leaving, and should not leave until the doctor has checked and confirmed. Allergies may occur due to your pet's specific constitution, and these can include a short period of time: local rash, facial oedema, or even breathing difficulties and shock.
2. Avoid contact with patients
Avoid contact with pets with infectious diseases during the vaccination period. Immunity usually occurs seven days after vaccination.
3. Avoid immediate bathing
It takes about 7 days for the vaccine to produce a certain amount of antibodies to provide a certain level of protection for the pet. 1-3 days after vaccination, it is not in a safe period and the effects of the vaccine are not fully reflected. As the resistance is weak, you should bathe your pet a week or half a month after all the vaccinations to avoid getting cold and frightened and getting sick.
4. Intensive Care
Some pets may experience slight discomfort after vaccination, such as fever, poor spirit, loss of appetite, lethargy, etc. These are all normal reactions and require intensive care to avoid external stress. Usually after 1-2 days, the pet's body will return to normal.
5. Check for antibodies in time
2 weeks after the vaccination, bring your pet to the hospital to have its antibodies checked. If there is any failure of immunisation, the vaccination can be replaced in time.
