How to interact with your budgie？

Lively, intelligent and easily tamed, budgies are very popular pet birds and fun companions for humans. They are very good at imitating sounds and can 'talk' to their owners with great skill. Familiarise your budgie with his environment.

Budgies learn to speak by imitating the sounds they often hear, which means that if they can hear people talking regularly, they will imitate these sounds and learn to speak. Choose an area of the room where it can hear the sounds of you talking. So, letting it listen to people more often will help it learn human language. However, the fumes from kitchen utensils are highly toxic to birds, so please do not place the aviary in the kitchen.

Taming budgies

You can build an emotional bond with your budgie by staying in a room with him and spending time together without disturbing each other (e.g. reading a book, watching TV). This will help your budgie get used to being around people and make it feel comfortable and relaxed to be around you. Taming your budgie and teaching it to stand on your hand is another way to build an emotional connection with it.
