CUSTOM SUPPORT & SALE
The whole idea of a holiday with a furry baby is to make happy memories. Make sure you pamper them fully during your holiday with activities, spa treatments, hospitality and lots of love.
Firstly, be prepared before you travel
This preparation means being prepared for the transport that you will need to take when you go on your trip, as some forms of transport do not allow pets. Whether you are travelling by plane, train or car there are procedures for transporting pets. Remember to contact the relevant staff in advance to get the paperwork right before travelling. In addition, your dog must be inoculated against rabies and must not be less than one year old. If travelling overseas, your pet will enter the country as checked baggage or as air cargo.
Secondly, pack your pet's necessities for travel
In addition to the basics such as a leash, carrier, potty belt and identification tags, you will also need to pack folding bowls, dog food, basic medication, toys, a bed or blanket, etc. It is important to carry travel documents with you. Carry enough water to keep your pet hydrated. Also pets can get carsick, so bring tissues or wet pads to avoid confusion.
Third, research friendly pet accommodation well in advance
Be aware that not every hotel or B&B welcomes pets. Please contact the hotel or B&B a few days before your trip, look up hotel B&B reviews or call the service staff personally and ask for the pet policy to avoid any surprises.
Fourthly, it is important to make your pet feel at home.
Pets are prone to nervousness and anxiety when they are away from their marked areas. What owners can do to ease their pet's anxiety is to bring their pet's bed, toys, blankets, feeding dishes, etc. Try not to leave your pet alone in the room until he or she has adjusted to the new environment.
